Cost and pricing
What a project costs, what a remote hire costs, and what makes a price move.
What does a project cost?
Most projects get one agreed price before work starts. Entry offers typically run from $300 to $6K, and larger systems are scoped with you. The pricing page lists the usual ranges.
What does a remote hire cost?
Developers start from $10 an hour. The hourly rate is $10 to $40 by seniority, or $1.6K to $4.8K a month for a dedicated hire. Other roles are quoted with the candidate profiles, before anyone starts.
Why are your rates lower than a local hire?
Qelv is a US company with a distributed team and no office overhead, so an hour costs less. Every piece of work is still reviewed, tested and documented, and it lands in your repository.
What if the scope changes mid-build?
Every quote lists what is in scope and what is out. A change of scope gets its own quote, agreed before any work on it starts.
Do we have to commit to a retainer?
No. The plan is free, a build is paid once, and a remote hire is month to month. A monthly care plan is optional, and you can cancel it.

Do I need a call first?
No. Describe the work in a few sentences and get a free plan, usually within 2 business days. To talk it through instead, book a call with Faizan.
What does the free plan say?
What to build, automate or staff first, how long it takes and a price range. It's yours to keep, whatever you decide.
Who reads my message, and who does the work?
The founder reads every request and replies himself. He scopes the work and leads the build, and the delivery team in Islamabad builds it with him.
How long does a build take?
Most entry offers ship in 1 to 5 weeks. Each one on the pricing page shows its delivery window, and the quote fixes it along with the price.
What happens after launch?
You own the system and can run it yourself. Or a monthly care plan covers monitoring, fixes and a set amount of change. It has a cap, and you can cancel it.
Can we see examples of your work?
Yes. The work page has the case studies with their figures, demos you can open and live client sites. Tell us what you want to see and we'll walk you through the closest one on a call.
Remote teams

Which roles can you staff?
Any role that works online: developers, SDRs and sales, marketing, virtual assistants, customer support, and operations and research.
How do you screen people?
Each candidate does a live task from real work, with a deadline. Then a trial on your own work, under NDA, with the second phase paid. You decide based on the work.
Can they work under our brand, for our clients?
Yes. Agencies and software houses hire our developers by the hour for this. They work in your repository, to your standards, under your brand.
Is there a placement fee or a minimum term?
There is no placement fee. A dedicated hire is month to month, and hourly work can stop at any time.
Ownership, security and IP
Who owns the work, where it runs, and what we need access to.
Who owns what you build?
You do. Code lands in your repository, systems run in your accounts, and documentation comes with the handover. Ownership is written into the statement of work.
Where does the system run?
In your accounts, with the code in your repository, so your own team can run it. Every quote states what runs on your accounts and what, if anything, runs on ours.
Do you need access to our systems?
The free plan is written from what you send, and a sample file is enough. For a build, you grant access in your own accounts, to the systems the work needs.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, routinely. Every paid trial of a remote hire runs under one. Send yours, or ask for ours.

Where is Qelv based?
Qelv is a US company with a distributed team: Qelv LLC, registered in Wyoming, and a second company registered in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Work has been delivered for clients in 13 countries: the US, the UK, Canada, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Singapore, Australia, Denmark, Mexico, Lithuania, South Africa and Pakistan.
Who is behind it?
Faizan Naghman, who founded Qelv in 2023 after UC Irvine and Freddie Mac, owns the company and leads every engagement. His story and the dated record of the work are on the about page.
What kinds of work do you do?
Product strategy, design, software development, data pipelines, automation, growth (outbound, SEO and ads) and remote staff for any online role. One team covers all of it, from the first plan to the running system.
