Privacy Policy

Qelv LLC (“Qelv”, “we”, “us”) is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA. This policy applies to this website and to the inquiries, downloads and calls you arrange through it.

Information you give us

When you send one of our forms, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that is:

• your name and email address
• your company name or website address
• your message, and any other content you choose to include
• the answers you pick: what you need help with, a budget range and timing, and for a remote team request the role, how many people, the hours and a start date
• for a download, which document you asked for: the case book, the sample automation plan or the Scoping Call Playbook

You decide how much detail to include. Please do not send confidential business information, credentials, or personal data about other people through a form.

Information sent with a form

Along with your answers, the form sends a few facts about how you got to it. These need no cookies and are sent whatever you chose on the cookie banner:

• the page you sent it from
• the campaign tags in that page’s link, if it had any (for example, a link in one of our emails), and the name of the site that referred you
• which button on our site opened the form
• how long the form took, and a random reference for the submission

Two more items are sent only with your consent. With analytics on, the form adds a short note of how this visit first started, which link or campaign and which page (see the Cookie Policy). With marketing on, and where HubSpot runs on this site, it adds HubSpot’s browser identifier (the hubspotutk cookie), so the pages you read can be linked to your inquiry. As with any request over the internet, a submission also carries your IP address and browser details in transit.

Where a submission goes

Every form posts to this site’s own endpoint, which delivers it to our mailbox as an email through our email provider. For a download or an estimate, we also email you a short acknowledgment (for a download, it includes the link) from a separate sending address.

The submission is not copied anywhere else by our server.

Booking a call

Our scheduler is HubSpot Meetings, shown inside our pages. It loads only when you click to open it, except on the page you see after sending a form, where it loads by itself if you turned marketing on. When you book, HubSpot receives the name, email address and time you enter, adds the meeting to our calendar and to your record in our CRM, and sends you a confirmation. Once loaded, the scheduler runs on HubSpot’s own domain under its privacy policy and may set its own cookies there.

Information collected while you browse

Only if you allow it. The cookie banner offers two categories, analytics and marketing, and nothing in either runs until you switch it on. You can change your choice at any time from our Cookie Policy, which lists every cookie and browser entry by name.

Analytics. Google Analytics counts visits and page views, records the on-site actions this site defines (a request delivered through the form and the need, budget range and timing picked on it, the form being started, the kind of help picked on the form, the form failing to send and falling back to email, the booking calendar opened, a call booked in the calendar, the homepage tick-list sending your picks to the form, a call-to-action clicked, a work or labs card staying on screen long enough to have been read, a work or labs card opened, a pricing section opened, the payback estimator used, a client site opened, a walkthrough asked for on a work or labs page, which calculator was used (not the numbers in it), a demo opened on the tools page, and which document was sent to you by email), and truncates your IP address before storing anything. We also note how your visit started, as described above.

Marketing. Apollo.io identifies which company a visit comes from, and adds company details to the forms you fill in (see below).

If you decline, none of these run. If you turn a category off later, its scripts stop, the page reloads to shut down any that were running, and the site deletes the cookies and browser entries they set on this site. Entries a service keeps on its own domain are outside our reach; your browser settings can clear those.

Apollo visitor identification

With marketing on, Apollo’s website tracker records the pages you visit, the site that referred you and any campaign tags, under a random identifier it stores in your browser, and uses your IP address to estimate the company you are browsing from. What we see in Apollo is company level: which organizations visited and which pages they read. The tracker can also load an identity service from LiveIntent, which may recognize your browser from other sites and pass Apollo a scrambled (hashed) form of an email address it links to it. A second Apollo script matches the email and company you type into our forms against Apollo’s business directory, so an inquiry arrives with company details. Your message itself still goes only to us and, where configured, our CRM.

A note for California residents. Under California law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA), letting Apollo and its partners identify visitors this way may count as “sharing” personal information, meaning disclosing it for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of this sharing, decline marketing on the cookie banner, or turn marketing off here at any time:

How we use it

• to reply to your inquiry and assess whether we can help
• to prepare the plan, estimate, document or other work you ask for
• to follow up about a live inquiry, and to keep our own record of the conversation
• to arrange and hold the calls you book
• with your consent, to understand which pages lead to inquiries and which companies read them, so we can improve the site and our outreach

We do not sell personal information. We do not use what you send us to train machine learning models.

Legal bases

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, keeping a record of them and operating our website, and on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies. Where we are negotiating or performing a contract with you, we rely on that contract.

Who processes your information

We keep our processor list short and name it plainly:

• Our hosting and email providers, to serve this site, deliver form submissions to our mailbox and send the acknowledgments described above.
• Apollo.io, only with marketing on, for the visitor identification and form enrichment described above.
• Google (Google Analytics), only with analytics on. Google processes visit and page view data on our behalf so we can see which pages are read and which lead to an inquiry. Nothing you type as free text is sent to Google.

These providers act on our instructions, except where the text above says a service uses data under its own policy. Qelv operates from Pakistan and is registered in the United States, so your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries, CRM records and call bookings: for as long as the conversation or the work is live, and then for as long as we reasonably need them for our records and our legal and tax obligations. If you ask us to delete them, we will, unless the law requires us to keep something.
• Analytics and marketing data: for the periods each service sets. The cookies themselves last from the end of your visit up to two years, as the Cookie Policy lists, and are deleted from this site when you turn their category off.
• Your cookie choice: in your browser until you change it or clear this site’s data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to opt out of sharing, and to withdraw consent. Email faizan@qelv.io and we will act on the request, including by asking HubSpot and Apollo to do the same. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Access to the mailbox and the CRM that hold inquiries is restricted to people who need it, and the server keeps its credentials outside the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date shown above.
