Our own venture. May 2025 to February 2026.

An SEO article generator we built for ourselves

Content teams buy generation tools that produce a draft in one pass and then spend the saved time fixing it. Cruise Control SEO runs four narrow agents in sequence, each handing its stage to the next, inside the accounts, article view and dashboard a subscription would need.

The situation

Content teams buy generation tools that produce a draft in one pass and then spend the saved time fixing it. We wanted to know whether a pipeline of four narrow agents, each handing its output to the next, produced something a desk would keep, and whether the product surface around it earned a subscription. Cruise Control SEO was built between May 2025 and February 2026 to find out.

What we built

  • A Next.js marketing and app shell with accounts, onboarding, an article view and a dashboard
  • Four sequential agents, each taking the previous one's output and adding a stage of the article, from keyword and brief to draft
  • A keyword-to-topic-map-to-publishing pipeline planned behind it, with Search Console and WordPress publishing scoped
  • Firebase auth and Firestore for accounts and article state

What changed

The demo takes a keyword and a brief to a drafted article through the agents in sequence, and the product surface around it is open to visit. We run it on our own content while we decide what it becomes.

Try it
